Four bright green legs greeted me when I looked up into the arbor I was reading under. I’ve witnessed the jumping ability of this creature before and had no desire to offer my sun-tanning back as a landing pad. I’ve only seen the Knight Anole one other time ( when he jumped from our mango tree a few weeks ago), but today he and I entered into a staring match that allowed me a few pictures. He is about two feet long from nose to tail and capable of changing from brilliant emerald green to dusty brown in an instant. He really is magnificent. Glad he chose our green space for his home.
